The Tandava Protagonist

Destruction serenity

The shackles holding me, wings.
Words freeing, you have a beautiful name.
Remember your ancestry, the theater
you signed for? Do I? I do, but
You never know. endlessness...
one story, one O, endless zero.
Destruction? Now what is that?
Pain, may be,
serenity, may be
safety, my responsibility.
soul on oath. I am the name
all true names are held.

Her eyes, silent waters
stillness, inner ocean, infinite
I am you, you are me.

The Tandava Protagonist
keeping count by beads of tear
moment awaited
painstakingly made
dot by dot by dot by dot
a point is but the eternity
close. open, any you choose.
do not fear love
I am always here. a garland of snake,
Rudra meditates
dance of destruction, cosmos
nothing is lost...
astral planes surreal
disintegration, separation
dot by dot by dot by dot
step by step by step.

Kali Bare

Blessed Prakriti, lost woman in painful indecision
Should she bear, just keep bearing the hurt, all bare?
She has never known love, sometimes she feels.

On nights, somehow nights are blessed
The dark, darkness, dark man Shiva, she feels embraced.
I feel impure, love; i feel so impure that the water
the mirror i hold in my palms, folded for your prayer
i wish i held blood, blood of all my hurt
anoint your temple with my pain
would you accept my prayers then?

Rudra, the mighty man,
lowers his head in shame.
Dearest beloved,
finding soft words
flowers for her worship,
he says, gently,
with a sense, helplessness,
love, all darkness created of me
If I am to assume responsibility
your pain is by me i can not deny.
i can not deny, not deny, deny...

many a times, in this maze, i lost you
seeking you, my love, is my world
blood prayers you say...
beautiful,
i am honored that you can still love
after all the hurt and pain, absence
we never seem,
to be together again
and again and again we try
many a worlds created and destroyed
but,
we never
never seem to find time.
am i time?
Are you timeless?

They cry, rains fall like a murmur
Finding words again
after ages. he says,
Come close, be proud,
come closer, love,
Hold me, just as,
sacred beloved,
you always thought.

Silence of Water

Hush. The Lord is silent.
Hush, words cannot describe.
From darkness, was born light..
The ocean, from its depth
Rose the earth.
the first lovers, of the Universe
Rudra and Kalika,
Prakriti and Purusha
infinity eternity, eternities,
Rudraksha, drops of tear.
At Kailash, In his Crystal throne
Ancient of the Ancients
Maha Dev, ethereal waters
snow flakes
It is cold.

Pure as Kali,
dark so dark,
light must show...
silence ushers depth,
End of ages
imminent,
balance works
invisible geometry,
tree poem, Void pain,
empty end.

Then, the Fakir of the road
casual doomsayer
He will say have peace
If Allah wills, Dead roads
would crack, earth,
spring stream
waterfall.

suddenly all,
Peace as if still, a lake airy deep
pebbles clear, stories held dear
endless and boat,
transparent....
transparent....

floating in the flow,
lights glow,
fireflies,
poignant night,
lost, as in the book,
the depth,
of seven seas,
oldest trees, stars,
blue night, remember?
remember?

full moon, ancient snow.

3 And God said, Light be made, and the light was made. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good, and he parted the light from (the) darknesses; 5 and he called the light, day, and the darknesses, night. And the eventide and the morrowtide was made, one day (the first day).

Rudraksha

The yogi,
Did you find him?
After looking for him everywhere
Did he just come and say
I am here?

He was always here
You knew him by the tree
by arch of the woods
The road
that disappeared,
Dancing flowers
Cusp of the moon
Shimmering rain....

Look close,
Is there
a tear!
Why does a God cry?
He cries
by the sad
story
of beloved
Prakriti.

when...
the Mahabharata was said and done
Great Krishna sat in contemplation
at his Maya
and he cried too.

BalaRama,
elder image of Krishna
Shiva reluctant
at Mahabharata,
he stayed away
from the war
immensely painful
to bear.

Bhisma,
Shiva at war
at his invincibility
pained
folded his hands
to Krishna
to grant him
the death wish,
explained how
Arjuna
can take him down.
tired of the mayhem.
The tears of Shiva are Rudraksha.
His eyes balance the Universe
The Sun and the Moon
The tears,
dew held precious
by flowers.
